Store Associate Safety & Support
In any and all circumstances, we are dedicated to supporting our Boot Barn community. We have been prioritizing safety because our store associates and our customers come first. Here are some of the actions we have taken to keep our store associates safe, healthy, and well supported as they work to serve our customers during COVID-19:
Frontline Premium Pay
During the peak of the coronavirus crisis, all store associates who have opted to continue working in-store to support our customers have received premium pay.
Personal Protective Equipment
We have distributed face coverings for all of our store associates, we have installed plexiglass safety barriers at all checkout registers, we have secured and distributed hand sanitizer, disinfectant, and cleaning supplies at all stores, and we have significantly augmented our in-store cleaning process to ensure that surfaces are cleaned on a consistent basis.
Emergency Paid Sick Leave
We have updated our Benefit Time Off Policy to include time off with pay for anyone impacted by a positive COVID-19 test or needing to self-quarantine due to coming in close contact with someone who has tested positive.
Voluntary Work
Each store associate was given the choice to take a voluntary furlough. For all store associates who have opted not to work during this time, we have continued their pay for a period of time and we have maintained their health insurance benefits.
Boot Barn Boot Straps Fund
The Boot Barn Boot Straps Fund was created to provide assistance to our fellow Boot Barn colleagues, teammates, and coworkers experiencing financial hardship as a result of a sudden emergency. Learn more about our Boot Straps Fund.
